What: Luncheon with James Mulva, Chairman, President & CEO, ConocoPhillips
ConocoPhillips chairman and CEO Jim Mulva will speak about opportunities in the U.S. at the start of a new administration to tackle energy security and climate change at a National Press Club luncheon on Jan. 13.
Mulva, who heads the nation's third largest energy company, has said that the new president and Congress should make addressing climate change a priority even as they focus on economic concerns and stabilizing financial markets.
ConocoPhillips is the only U.S. based energy company in the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, which pushes for national legislation requiring reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
