Harold Furchtgott-Roth, former commissioner of the Federal Communications Commission, is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, where he founded the Center on the Economics of the Internet. He is an adjunct professor of law at Brooklyn Law School and president of Furchtgott-Roth Economic Enterprises, an economic consulting firm. He is a cofounder of Utilicom Advisors. He cofounded a wireless company and has consulted to scores of businesses. He is the author and coauthor of four books and over fifty professional papers and journal articles. His scores of op-eds and columns have been widely published. He is a member of the Legal Policy Advisory Board for the Washington Legal Foundation. Dr. Furchtgott-Roth received a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and an S.B. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
