Reel Tributes: Family history meets the 21st century
Kickoff Event in the Wharton Entrepreneurship Forum

Join us to hear David Adelman WG ’11 discuss the company he recently founded, Reel Tributes. Reel Tributes produces high-end personal history documentaries. These films capture what matters most, from the touching life story of an individual to a dramatic history of an entire family to the successes of a family business.

Combining interviews, photographs, and music into broadcast-quality films, and using the latest high-definition equipment, Reel Tributes produces documentaries that will be cherished today and for generations to come. Learn more, and view sample films, at

David will tell us more about how he started the company and why preserving family history is so important. He will present samples from films Reel Tributes has produced, and looks forward to getting feedback and suggestions from the group.

This event will kick off the Entrepreneurship Forum, a collaboration of the Wharton and Harvard Business School Clubs of DC. Featuring Wharton and HBS alums, as well as other entrepreneurs with startup and early stage businesses, this series will provide members and their guests with an opportunity to learn about exciting new startups in the area, and help entrepreneurs develop and expand their businesses. We hope to organize a presentation in this series on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.

The DC Wharton Club Entrepreneurship Forum brings together Wharton, Harvard B-School, and other business school alums in the DC area to discuss exciting new businesses and ideas. The group plans to meet once every other month during breakfast or lunch at a convenient location in or around Washington DC.

The Forum has three main goals:

  • Introduce new startup companies to alumni from Wharton, HBS, and other top business schools
  • Assist entrepreneurs in developing their companies by providing advice, networking opportunities, and resources to help build entrepreneurial spirit and success
  • Promote engagement between recent Wharton and HBS graduates and business leaders in the DC area
