Call for Volunteer Leaders - Career Workshops
Club Invites All Club Members & Career Seminar Participants
to Enjoy the Benefits of Leading a Successful Program
to Help You Advance Your Career
For the past three years, we have had great success with the Wharton – McDonough Business School Career Seminar Series and our Georgetown University partnership. As we plan our 2006-07 series, we need your active participation to bring new ideas and added energy to our volunteer group.
Many of you have attended our seminars and experienced the associated benefits. Today, we would like to invite you to join as a seminar leader.
The seminar series team has developed a program planning worksheet, activities schedule, and a list of possible topics and potential speakers. Engagement in this leadership team provides a road map to a successful event, as well as an opportunity to contribute to your fellow business colleagues seeking job support. It will also extend your network of colleagues, thereby helping you advance your career.
We are hopeful you will all be able to contribute with about 2 hours per week over a 4-week period, leading the activities necessary for a seminar. The seminar team - Bill Kyburz, Jack Cosby, Alan Schlaifer, Tina Wallace and I - are all available to provide guidance and help along the way.
Please let us know your interest and ability to contribute. Thank you.
