Washington Association of Money Managers is pleased to present a program featuring: an outstanding speaker for this timely and critically important topic will be Chris Versace, the Chief Investment Officer at Tematica Research. Chris is a widely sought after speaker having spent more than 15 years in the equity research departments at leading investment institutions. As Chief Investment Officer, his clarity and deep understanding of the markets enables him to identify return opportunities for domestic and foreign mutual funds, hedge funds, and other institutional investors. Mr. Versace is the co-author of the book Cocktail Investing: Distilling Everyday Noise into Clear Investment Signals for Better Returns.
Mr. Versace will bring his customary clarity and insight to the debate around how demographics affect market returns. Demographic changes in the United States and globally have major implications for investment risks and returns and consequences for wealth creation and portfolio construction. To cite only a few of the key impacts, population growth rates, the retirement and aging of baby boomers and the maturation of the millennial generation will influence longer term investment preferences, asset allocation, valuations across sectors and savings rates. Brief bio: Chris Versace is the Chief Investment Officer at Tematica Research. At the start of his career, Mr. Versace spent 13 years in the equity research departments of Salomon Brothers; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Friedman Billings Ramsey (FBR). At these institutions, Mr. Versace analyzed the wireless, display and machinery/ capital goods as well as homebuilding/building product industries to bring clarity, understanding and returns for both domestic and foreign mutual funds, hedge funds, and other institutional investors.
