Virtual Alumni Weekend 2021

Join in the Alumni Weekend fun from anywhere, May 14-15, 2021! Sign up for the virtual State of the University address with President Amy Gutmann, take the curator's tour of the Fisher Fine Arts Library, a National Historic Landmark on Penn's campus, or tune in to hear from the Penn experts leading the charge against COVID-19. Don't miss the annual Gallery Hop, class sponsored programming, or the opportunity to join a virtual panel discussing the Year of Civic Engagement at Penn. There is something for everyone–and this year you can join from anywhere!

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we will be unable to hold Alumni Weekend as an in-person event in 2021. An in-person celebration held at some point in the future when it is safe to do so. Please keep an eye out for communications from Penn’s schools and centers for their plans for virtual Alumni Weekend events.

Penn's 265th Commencement Update

We are pleased to report that, based upon the new guidelines very recently issued by the Philadelphia Health Department, we have now confirmed that we will be able to hold one limited in-person undergraduate Commencement ceremony at Franklin Field on the morning of May 17th. This plan is contingent upon there being no major interim change for the worse in the course of the pandemic. Due to public health limitations, we regret that we will not be able to welcome the entire Penn community to this year’s celebration. Visit commencement.upenn.edu/grad2021 for details.
