Kate Jenkins is an acquisitions editor for Arcadia Publishing. She acquires for The History Press imprint in the mid-Atlantic region, and has worked on a wide variety of projects, from Native American and African American histories to books of folklore, folktales and ghost stories. Her background is in US history, and she has a Master’s degree from the College of Charleston. She loves working with local authors to publish the history that they’re passionate about, and preserve that knowledge for future generations.
