Naomi is a talented singer, lyricist, actress, and director. She is a seasoned performer who has turned her focus to write, direct and produce high quality theatrical productions for children and families. Wharton Club members and guests are invited.
Naomi Gerstenblith is the founder of Curtain Up Creative, a business specializing in personalized and custom musical and theatrical productions. Naomi is a talented singer, lyricist, actress, and director. She is a seasoned performer who has turned her focus to write, direct and produce high quality theatrical productions for children and families.
With a Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and three school-aged children of her own, Naomi has years of experience working with kids of all ages to overcome challenges. Naomi has a passion for music and has written original lyrics and performed songs for countless family occasions.
With these skills and her theater background, she is able to bring out the best in every child, and help community groups and schools present custom productions for holidays, graduations, or other special occasions.
During the pandemic, Naomi produced outstanding virtual productions and now incorporates those virtual/technical elements into live productions. Naomi grew up in Baltimore in a musical family. She then received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Virginia and Master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the Institute of Health Professions at Massachusetts General Hospital.
