What: Join us to meet fellow members and guests, celebrate the holidays, and take a break from the working world! For those who are in town, we hope this will prove welcome, as most of the parties and celebrations, especially the large public ones, will already have occurred.

BONUS: As usual: We will have a drawing - and fun quiz with questions about Wharton, UPenn or Philadelphia, and DC - U.S. Presidents and other historical (or even possibly some hysterical) leaders - for several prizes. So brush up on alum, Philly and DC local facts and people! Famous Wharton and Penn alums who you may not realize had a Quaker connection. But all, regardless of school, are welcome, as guests of members.

Attire: Festive, holiday attire, if you like, or business casual. (No jeans, per Press Club rules)

Clues:

• We may repeat one or more of these from three years ago, to see if you attended AND were paying attention. But we'll also have some new ones, too:
  • We will be trying to deal with some special "food for thought"........ and THREE - count 'em THREE - Whartonians who played significant roles in the restaurant and food industries. Clue: all three made fame and fortune in different places - one each from NYC, Chicago and Ohio.
    • Extra clue: One passed away earlier this year. 
  • Some key facts about the "crème de la crème" for Wharton and Penn people and others.
  • How you've made it through the pandemic - special facts about you - and what you're doing to make 2024 a better year.
  • and a chance to interact through breakout rooms and then toast to your health, wealth and happiness.
