Meet Nadine A. Bendycki: "Everyone Needs a Patient Advocate: Who is Yours?" 4/30
Nadine is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Case Western Reserve University. Wharton Club members and guests are invited!
- Here's what Nadine writes about this vital topic:
- By virtue of my lived experience, study, training and inclination, I am a passionate patient advocate and patient champion.
- I recently retired with nearly than 30 years experience at four of Cleveland's major medical institutions - Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Northeast Ohio, The Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals of Cleveland - plus 12 years as an independent consultant specializing in marketing and market research for hospitals, and other mission-based organizations and medical practices.
- In my personal life, I had the privilege of accompanying my mother, father and brother on their end-of-life journeys with hospice. These experiences profoundly shaped my views of patient advocacy.
- As a social scientist with business and analytical skills, I am uniquely qualified to assist hospital leadership, colleagues and other key stakeholders to understand the voice of the customer, the complexity of healthcare decision-making and the patient journey to healing and wholeness following acute or chronic illness and disability.
- Nadine is a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Case Western Reserve University, from which she also obtained a Master's Degreee in Medical Anthropology.
