This special event, hosted by the National Archives and Friends of the National World War II Memorial, will take place at the William G. McGowan Theater in Washington, DC, with a virtual attendance option available.

Hear firsthand accounts from Colonel Frank Cohn and Harry Miller, veterans of one of the most decisive battles of World War II. The discussion will be moderated by Friends’ Resident Historian Alex Kershaw, bestselling author of The Longest Winter and Patton’s Prayer. Afterward, explore rare artifacts from the National Archives collection and enjoy a book signing with Kershaw, Cohn, and Miller.

As part of the National Archives’ Veterans Day celebrations, we will host a program honoring the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge in partnership with the Friends of the National WWII Memorial.
