The WAMM Board and Officers are pleased to invite you to a private screening of The Accountant, a 2016 financial thriller starring Ben Affleck as a forensic accountant whose clients include both legitimate firms and criminal enterprises. With themes that touch on forensic accounting, financial ethics, and analytical rigor under pressure, the film provides a compelling springboard for discussion. Following the screening, we’ll host a conversation on relevant topics such as the role of forensic accounting in uncovering fraud, behavioral finance, and the challenges of oversight in opaque financial environments. Light refreshments will be provided.
