Norm Gordon: "The Dire Literacy Crisis in Early Elementary Education in Montgomery County" 2/3
A native of Montgomery County, Norm graduated from Gaithersburg High School. Wharton Club members and guests are invited!

- A native of Montgomery County, Norm graduated from Gaithersburg High School and did his undergraduate studies at Davidson College, NC.
- He later received a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, and became ordained as a clergy member of the Presbyterian Church, USA, serving most recently from 2007 - 2015 as an Associate Pastor at Gaithersburg Presbyterian Church.
- He then stepped down and started a non-profit, Germantown Global Connection, Inc., which offers "spaces to gather, opportunities to serve, and avenues for spiritual growth."
- His wife, Elsie M. Gordon, Ph. D. is a Clinical Psychologist at Dayspring Psychological Services and his three daughters are grown young adults pursuing their callings.
- In his spare time, he enjoys running, local history, and really good coffee.
