Leventhal, former U.S. Ambassador to Denmark & former chairman and CEO of Beacon Capital Partners, for a timely conversation on the geopolitical forces shaping today’s policy and business environment. 

Drawing on his diplomatic experience, Ambassador Leventhal will explore the strategic importance of Greenland and the Arctic, examine broader global developments affecting government and industry stakeholders, and share his perspective on the growing need for bipartisan collaboration to address complex national challenges.

About the Speaker 

Alan M. Leventhal 
Former US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark  
Chairman and CEO, Beacon Capital Partners 
 
Alan M. Leventhal is an accomplished diplomat and business executive who served as the United States Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark from 2022 to 2025, working closely with Danish and Greenlandic leaders on Arctic security, economic development, and climate‑focused initiatives. Prior to his diplomatic service, he served as Chairman and CEO of Beacon Capital Partners and previously led Beacon Properties Corporation, establishing himself as a respected leader in business, civic engagement, and public service. 

Ambassador Leventhal is a life member of the MIT Corporation, serves on the Executive Committee of the Boston Green Ribbon Commission, and has held leadership roles at Boston University, the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, and Northwestern University. He holds a BA in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Dartmouth College, and he remains active in international policy discussions with a particular focus on Greenland and transatlantic affairs.
