·      Wife died due to ovarian cancer in 2014 and was affected by colon cancer in 2016 – surviving without medication.

·      Awarded Best NGO for cancer prevention by the Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce & Industry -2023-24

·      Awarded Best Manager of the Year 2024-25 by the Hyderabad Management Association – integral part of the Indian Management Association

·      Blessed with two children: Venkat completed three master's degrees in Health Care Management at Texas and Texas A&M, working with the Emory group of hospitals in Atlanta; and the second, Ravi, has one master's from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila - Philippians and a second in Legal & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School Tuft’s University , and is with the World Bank.
